Layla Chamberlin had a whopping 20 saves to spark the El Segundo girls water polo team during its 10-4 win over Culver City in the Ocean League opener for both teams at the El Segundo Plunge. Talia Dominic had three goals and Grace Wiggington and Annabelle Cloutier-Chaine had two goals each for El Segundo (8-6, 1-0).
“That was Layla’s best game of the year and her season high in saves,” El Segundo coach Riley Brady said.
