Lawndale High’s Fred Dryer, who played defensive end at El Camino College and with the Los Angeles Rams, will be the featured speaker Wednesday, Jan. 7 when the Daily Breeze All-Area football team is honored at noon during a banquet presented by the South Bay Athletic Club at the Doubletree Hotel in Torrance. El Camino College and Harbor College Players of the Year also will be honored. The public is welcome to attend. It’s free for head coaches and all-area players and $25 a plate at the door for anyone else who would like to attend.
