Torrance’s Marcos Ambriz has shown a knack for scoring goals this season, and he kept at it on Friday.
Ambriz scored three goals to pave the way for the Tartars’ 3-2 victory against visiting Leuzinger in a Pioneer League battle.
Those three goals helped Torrance claim its third consecutive victory. Goalkeeper Brandon Hall recorded four saves in the win.
The Tartars are now 9-5-2 overall and 2-0 in league play. It was the fourth loss in a row for the Olympians, who fell to 5-6-2, and 0-3 in league.
